AI Content Detection
Software that guesses whether text was written by a human or an AI model.
AI content detection is software that estimates whether a piece of text was written by a human or generated by an AI model, usually by looking at statistical patterns in word choice and structure. Detectors are probabilistic guesses, not proof, and they produce both false positives and false negatives.
The relevance to GEO is indirect but real. Engines and readers both reward content that is specific, original and genuinely useful; thin AI-generated filler tends to be fluent but fact-poor, which is exactly what fails to get cited and what detectors flag. The durable defence is not to game detectors but to write with high fact density, first-hand insight and original data.
In short, the content that is hardest for a detector to flag as generic is also the content most likely to be cited — because both qualities come from substance.
